RRB Technician Recruitment 2012 Notification, Form & Eligibility
Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has published recruitment notification 2012 for a huge vacancy of 12042 posts of Technicians yesterday in Employment News. As per the notification CEN-04/12, last date to apply for these positions is 16th July and the date of RRB Technicians written exam is 16th December, 2012. You can also click here to download RRB Recruitment 2012 Notification: CEN No.04-2012. This notification contains the application form for RRB Technician Recruitment 2012 in page-13. This blog post apprises you about the important information contained in the above notification to help you apply for the same. RRB Technician Vacancy 2012:
As par the notification, there are 12042 RRB vacancies, category-wise vacancy is as given below:

Salary for the RRB Technician positions:
Indian Railway is offering salary in following pay-scales for the positions mentioned against:
For Technician Gr.II/Signal - Rs. 5,200 - 20 200 (Grade Pay Rs. 2,400),
for all other Technician Gr.III Categories - Rs. 5,200 - 20 200 (Grade Pay Rs.1,900).
RRB Technician Eligibility:
Eligibilities for appearing/applying in RRB Technician Exam 2012 is given below:
Age Eligibility (as on 01/07/2012): Min 18 yrs, Max: 30 yrs. Age relaxations exists as per Govt rule.
Academic Qualification Eligibility: Matriculation and ITI Course Completed Act Apprenticeship approved by NCVT/SCVT in the relevant trade. Diploma/Degree in Engineering will not be acceptedin lieu of course completed Act Apprenticeship/ITI except for Category No.2 & 3 (i.e. Technician Signal Gr.III & Telecom Maintainer/Wireless telecom Maintainer Gr.III)
Above eligibilities for the railway posts have been given just to give you some idea and you should refer to the eligibility given for the specific posts as given in page1-8 of the Notification.for more detail.
Selection Process for RRB Technician Recruitment 2012:
Selections to the above positions would consist of a Single Stage Written Examination followed by Verification of Original Documents. RRB Technician exam 2012 would comprise of 100 questions to be answered in 90 minutes from following test sections - General Awareness, Arithmetic, General Intelligence and reasoning and Technical Ability. There is negative marking - 1/3 of the marks for each wrong answer.
Important Dates for RRB Technician Recruitment 2012:
Date of notification and form availability: 16th June, 2012.
Last date for receipt of completed form: 16th July, 2012. (For remote areas: 31st July, 2012).
Date of RRB Technician exam 2012: 16th December, 2012.

To my entire fans is sad to inform the Great Dara Singh Ji has passed away. He had been in critical condition for some time, passing away this morning. West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (WBSEDCL) had last week published recruitment notification 2012 for 500 positions of ITI Trainee from the trade of Wireman/Electrician. This blog article is being written to let you know about this very good job opportunity as ITI trainee in WBSEDCL by quoting the relevant information on eligibility & application form from the official recruitment notification. Towards the end of the article, I have also posted relevant info on WBSEDCL ITI Trainee exam pattern and prep materials (i.e. sample papers & books) to help you prepare for the same. As per the notification (MPP/2012/06), last date to apply online for WBSEDCL ITI Trainee Recruitment 2012 is 27th June, 2012 (6 P.M) & the ITI Trainee written Exam 2012 would be held on 5th August, 2012.WBSEDCL ITI Trainee Vacancy 2012:
First how many openings exists? As per the notification, 500 ITI trainee vacancies exists in WBSEDCL with following break-up of category-wise vacancies:
UR: 230,SC: 105, ST: 30, OBC-A: 50, OBC-B: 35, PH:15, UR (Sports): 10, EXSM:25.
WBSEDCL ITI Trainee Salary:
WBSEDCL is offering these ITI trainees monthly stipend of 10,000 during the 3-month training period. On successful completion of the same, they are absorbed as Linesman in the pay-scale: Rs. 6,300/- - 20,200/- plus Grade Pay Rs. 2,600/-. With this pay scale, approx gross salary is Rs.16,500 per month.
Eligibility for WBSEDCL ITI Trainee:
Age Eligibility: (as on 01.01.2012)
Min: 18 yrs & Max: 27 years. Age relaxations exists as per Govt rule.
Academic Qualification Eligibility:
Madhyamik or equivalent plus ITI Certificate in Wireman or Electrician Trade (2 year duration) under NCTVT from any Govt. ITI under Director of Industrial Training, Govt. of West Bengal. Candidates having adequate knowledge in communicating in Bengali / Nepali language are preferred.
Even candidates from outside of West Bengal can also apply (if above eligibilities are met), but they will have to apply as General Candidates (i.e. SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B certificate would not be considered).

However, I find that the General Aptitude test sections (GK, Logical Reasoning, English & Arithmetic) of this exam is very similar to those held for bank clerks, as you can see in my previous blog topic titled: IBPS CWE Clerk Exam Pattern, Papers & Books. Moreover, the minimum basic qualification is matriculation for both the exam. You can use the sample exam papers of bank clerk exam section-wise as sample papers for WBSEDCL ITI Trainee exam General Aptitude sections. If you are serious about preparing for this exam, you can also buy following books, which should be available in your nearest book store. Noel Gallagher doesn't mind brother Liam playing Oasis tracks at Beady Eye gigs – because it tops up his beer tokens.
He gets paid a few hundred quid each time Liam's band play any of the songs that he penned. Noel said: "Beady Eye have my permission to play my songs and they should do whatever they like.
