Lars Lagerbäck has agreed a two-year contract, starting in January 2012, to become coach of Iceland and he will be assisted by former ÍBV Vestmannaeyjar trainer Heimir Hallgrímsson.
The Football Association of Iceland (KSÍ) have confirmed that Lars Lagerbäck will take over as coach of the national team from January 2012, replacing Ólafur Jóhannesson.
