Daksh holds Naina by her hand and drags her to the altar, and asks her to say that she does not love him, in the presence of God whom she loves and trusts. Naina is unable to express her fears, and in the meantime, Supriya who is on her way out of the town, tells her driver to turn the car back, and she comes to see Naina. She tells her to give Daksh up, and allow her sister Sona to marry him. Daksh is offended by her behavior and tells her that yesterday, she knew that she was her daughter, and today, she wants to snatch away her happiness, to satisfy the other girl. He asks her, if she understands what she is asking of Naina, who has had to give up everyone she has loved from the time of her birth till today. First is was her birth mother, then, her father leaves her bereaved, and she comes to know Anjali is not her mother, she comes to Bombay and goes through hell, all caused by others who supposedly were her well wishers. The last arrow, comes from her own birth mother. He adamantly tells Supriya, she can not get want she wants. She does not know what she is asking, and even when she knows that he does not love Sona, she still wants to bind her to him, and live a miserable life, unloved. He is in front of the altar, and sees a tray of sindhur. He picks up some in his hand, and places it on the forehead of Naina, as they are all watching him. Anjali, comes on the scene, and she ties the knot, and they take the seven rounds around the fire, and get the blessings of Anjali. Supirya leaves broken hearted Naina touches the sindhur, and realizes what has happened, and feels that it is not right, and says, that her doing so, will bring so much unhappiness to everyone around her, and runs away. Anjali holds Daksh back, and tells him, that by being alone, she will regain her mind.
