Dr. Vihan pays a home visit to Rohini and all around are doting family members, headed by the volatile and emotionally outpouring grandmother. The doctor prescribes medicines and gives last minute advise. Everyone eyes the grandmother, and behave as if she is a pampered child, and careful not to get on her nerves, and control their expressions, to suit the mental state of the volatile lady. Akruti comes in and gives the excuse that she had cold, and did not want to transmit the virus to the baby. She wants to pick the child, and the grandmother wants to hand over the baby with her effusive extrovert tendency. As she is about to hand over the baby, Rohini makes eye contact with her mother, and she changes her mind and says, that the baby is hungry, and gives the baby to her mother, who rolls up her eyes with raised eyebrows, as her henpecked husband looks on. The effusive grandmother takes out her necklace, and places it on the child's chest, and Sanket raises objection to the mother saying that she should not have given her personal jewelry, but Rohini quickly stops him from forcing his mother from changing her mind, with her vile insinuations, and no one can fight this vamp. Dr. Vihan goes out and sees Akruti shedding tears, and he gives her some consoling advice and she cheers up.
There is a side show of Kaka and his wife. He is sitting comfortably and then his wife draws his attention that they need to give a gift to the child. He profusely abuses the family, and express his astonishment at his sister in law and her logic, that she who has disowned her son, as bequethed him half the house as a wedding gift, and they have to be traumatized for her fanciful decisions, and says that he can not understand her mind, ever since she has come into their house.
