The abduction of Washington Nationals' catcher Wilson Ramos will come as a shock to his fans in Washington. But it won't surprise many of his fellow countrymen in Venezuela.

My Comment: With the economy in the toilet .... crime is the only means for many to survive. But as shocking as these crime stats are, I suspect that they are being under-reported.
